I think this is really cute, I love the style! The coloring is the part that astounds me though... It's absolutely beautiful! I love how you shade... it's so soft and pastel-like XD The shading on the hair is definitely pretty, but I think there should be more light colors towards the top. You have quite a bit dark ones, but I dunno, I feel it should be lighter up there. The bottom part is done very well though and I love how much detail there is there. The darks all blend well into the lighter values and captures all the detail on the hair. Eyes... they look so pretty! I love how you made the pupil a dark green rather than completely black... it's very unique and a cute style. I like it! The coloring/shading on her skin is beautiful. She seems to be glowing from the sun and I really think it fits the scene well. You even put a lot of detail into the bathing suit! It's adorable... I love the design and colors. Very nice job there. I also think the background is unique and makes the girl stand out. It's very stylized and interesting to look at.
Now... I noticed a few people gave you some critiques, so I hope you don't mind The hand looks a bit awkward. I personally SUCK at hands, so I don't want to say anything too harsh really... I know how to draw them, I just can't XD So anyway, I think the way the fingers are spaced is incorrect, especially the pinky. I know it's hard, but I usually try looking at my own hand for reference. The way the pinky connects to the other fingers has a large space and the side of the hand is very smooth and wrongly shaped. Rather than going straight down from there, it should follow the pinky's edge sorta (if you know what I mean... probably not XD). And then from there, the wrist should be distinct. You didn't really give the wrist a specific place and the hand just kinda attaches to the arm. If you indennt (I'm not really sure how to put it) the area a little, it will look better. Finally... this is really minor... you could add a bit more shine to the beach ball, too make it seem more beach ball-material.
Regardless, I like this a lot. It's very cute! Great job and keep it up
